Most of the items relate to the banquet given by Maharaj Kumar of Vizianagram in honour of Sir Malcolm Hailey, Governor of the U.P., and Lady Hailey, at Benares on 11 January 1934, and the state banquet given by the Maharajah of Benares in honour of the Viceroy and Lady Willington at the Mint House on 16 January 1934.
