A copy of a map of New Holland (Australia), 7'' x 5½''. On an accompanying sheet of paper is written 'An M.S. map of New Holland as explored by Capt. Cook in 1770'.

The growth of the Medical Faculty was fast, and in 1890, the Chair of Anatomy and Physiology was split into two professorships.

'Melbourne' and 'Geelong' deeds, 1935
Copies of two manuscript deeds drawn up by J.T. Gellibrand, signed between John Batman and eight local chiefs on 6 June 1835. The deeds, the originals of which are in the Public Library of Victoria, granted Batman land covering the sites of Melbourne and Geelong, but were later held to be legally invalid. They have been mounted in plastic sleeves.
