190 x 140 mm. A view of the partially complete Lands Department, seen from the junction of Bridge Street and Pitt Street. Designed by James Barnet in 1877, by 1888 only the north-west corner was finished. This picture was probably taken around that year, or possibly a year or two earlier.

Scope and Contents From the Sub-Fonds: Fifty-three undated watercolours intended as bookmarks, each 200 x 45 mm in size, sold by John Sands of Sydney as indicated by stickers pasted onto the reverse. The images are of birds, with the exception of two koala bears, two kangaroos and one opossum. The vast majority are the work of three authors, signed Artah, M. Simpson and Koddi.
