Lansdowne Bridge, 1885

Scope and Contents

244 x 255 mm. A three-quarter front view of the fine stone bridge with one arch of 150 foot span. Designed and built by David Lennox in 1834-5, it was opened to traffic in 1836, and is still in use. The bridge crosses Prospect Creek near Liverpool. Sir T.L. Mitchell's name is printed at the corner of the page.

The lantern slides have a separate numbering sequence, although each catalogue entry records the number of the corresponding photographic print.
