210 x 160 mm. This ship, of the Houlder Line, sailed from Newcastle with horses on 14 November 1899 and 9 March 1900.
Lansdowne Bridge, 1885
244 x 255 mm. A three-quarter front view of the fine stone bridge with one arch of 150 foot span. Designed and built by David Lennox in 1834-5, it was opened to traffic in 1836, and is still in use. The bridge crosses Prospect Creek near Liverpool. Sir T.L. Mitchell's name is printed at the corner of the page.
