They include slides of the very attractive views from the garden and a series of aerial views taken at varying heights in May 1972. This section concludes with photographs of members of the domestic staff taken just before Marnham left St Lucia (dated Oct 72 nos 18-25). Slides have been renumbered but arrangement in the file remains as per the original typescript catalogue.

When the RES Headquarters was rebuilt in 1934-36, gifts of timber for panelling and furnishing were obtained from Empire Governments, companies and individuals. Many were destroyed during the bombing of 1941 and replacement gifts were received. This file coordinates pre and post-war correspondence.

Jamaica 1959-1982
A collection of loose prints intended for the exhibition 'Commonwealth in Focus' but received too late for inclusion. The subjects into which the collection is divided were chosen by the National Library of Jamaica, and are based on the headings used for the sections of the 'Commonwealth in Focus' exhibition. All measure either 250 x 200 mm or 370 x 300 mm. Various photographers.
