Scope and Contents
A scrapbook album containing prints of various sizes by various photographers (including Jose Anjo). The majority of the prints are captioned in Bell's hand. Captions composed for this catalogue are enclosed in square brackets. Only a few photographs relate to Northern Nigeria (prints 4-17 and 53), the majority dating from Bell's period as Governor of the Leeward Islands. The most extensively documented event in the album is the visit of Princess Marie Louise of Schleswig Holstein to Antigua in 1913.
