Directions to Calder Bank off Guadeloupe, 1795 - 1980
An account by Calder of his discovery on 30 January 1795 of a sea bank off Guadeloupe, which he named after himself (3 pages). The bank has not been traced, and presumably has an alternative French name. There is an accompanying note on Calder's account, 1975, and correspondence about the collection, 1976-1980, including a map of Guadeloupe and other West Indian islands.
