Cambridge University Empire Club/Cambridgeshire Branch, 1918 - 1973
The Club was formed in July 1918 and in 1919 was transformed into the Cambridgeshire Branch of the RCI. The file contains minutes, correspondence, subscriptions and cash records for 1918-1920. It also preserves minute books for the period 1957-73. The branch was dissolved on 16 Feb. 1973.

Captain Hall was the commanding officer of HMS 'Cornwall' and later, in the First World War, Director of Military Intelligence. Captain Dene was an army officer stationed in Bermuda with the Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry.
