Peck refers to Geoffrey Martin sharing drinks with the Stubbingses, and to the fact that Martin will be heading off on his travels westwards soon. Peck, Gorley Putt and David Coombe interviewed a prospective chaplain whilst the Master was away in Corfu. There was mulberry pie for college dinner.
