Correspondence between D.G.M. Bernard, David Landale and L.N. Leefe, Matheson & Co. Ltd, and McJerrow & Stevenson, Lockerbie, with related letters and papers, including correspondence of Jardine Matheson, Hong Kong, with Deacons, Hong Kong, McJerrow & Stevenson, Lockerbie, and others; a statement of the securities of John Bell-Irving held in Hong Kong on 29 July 1925; an amended list of the China investments of John Bell-Irving, 1925; a table listing changes in the Trust for Mr and Mrs John Bell-Irving since 1896, dated Hong Kong, 21 November 1925; a memorandum on the Trust, listing securities transferred from the Trust account to John Bell-Irving and John Bell-Irving Junior and summarising Trust securities sold, transferred or paid off, 1925; and the account current of the executors of the late Lieutenant Colonel A. Bell Irving D.S.O. with Jardine Matheson, Hong Kong, 30 April 1931. The ring-binder is numbered 2 and labelled 'Estate of the late J.J. Bell-Irving'.
