Scope and Contents
Originals and copies of correspondence of Matheson & Co. Ltd, with related papers, regarding the company's role in the management of estates, trusts and marriage settlements of senior members of Jardine, Matheson & Co. Ltd and Matheson & Co. Ltd and their relatives, as well as other individuals associated with the firms. There is some overlap in dates with the later subject files of Matheson & Co. Ltd found in I21/4, which eventually replaced I21/2.
