Government House, 1885 - 1901
Scope and Contents
198 x 147 mm. A view of the State Governor’s residence in the Domain, a building Italianate in style, with a square tower on one corner of the main building, and reputed to be derived from Osborne House in the Isle of Wight. The building was designed in the Public Works Office when W.W. Wardell was in charge, and was built between 1872-1876.
