The Sunday Times Magazine, 1964 - 1975
Scope and Contents
Two boxes containing numerous issues of the British newspaper supplement, The Sunday Times Magazine, along with tearsheets from other editions of the publication; all of which feature a variety of illustrations by Roger Law. Between 1964-1965, while still working for rival newspaper, The Observer, Law used the pseudonym Alan F. Gill. From the late 1960s onwards, Law's duties branched out beyond illustrating, which included conducting interviews and carrying out research for journalists, and writing his own articles.
The page number(s) where Law's work is featured in the individual issues, along with the original reference code (RL/Pre/number) attached to each artwork, can be found within the boxes.
