New Society, 1966, 1970
Scope and Contents
A file containing two issues of the British weekly publication, New Society, along with a tearsheet from another issue of the magazine; all of which have illustrations by Roger Law. The following issues/tearsheets are present:
1. A tearsheet containing page 16 from the 3 February 1966 issue, with a pencil drawing print of Lord Ashfield, which accompanies an article by T.C. Barker, titled, London's Third Traffic Crisis (RL/Pre-/1099).
2. 4 June 1970 (No. 401) issue - page 959 has an illustration that accompanies the article, Americans and Race: Free Will or Determinism, written by Howard Schuman (RL/Pre-/1102).
3. 20 August 1970 (No. 412) issue - page 34 has a small illustration that accompanies the opinion piece, Fancy Dress, written by David Marquand (RL/Pre-/1103).
