Scope and Contents

An album containing various black and white photographs, most of which are captioned. Many of the images are undated, but those that have dates originate from between 1896 and the 1920s. The album begins with photographs from dinners attended by various astronomers, including members of the Royal Observatory Board of Visitors. These are followed by photographs of various groups and individuals, including the Board of Visitors, c. 1896, and Albert Einstein at Leyden, c. 1920s.
