Report by the Supreme Commander, Allied Expeditionary Force [in Western Europe, United States Army], General Dwight Eisenhower, to the Combined Chiefs of Staff on the operations in Europe of the Allied Expeditionary Force, 8 June 1944 to 8 May 1945, dated 13 July 1945. In a presentation binding with an annotated dedication to WSC from Eisenhower and a note [by WSC's secretary] indicating that the gift was acknowledged on 23 January 1950.

Telegram from WSC to CSC (Moscow [Soviet Union]) marked "personal" stating that Feodor Gousev [Soviet Union Ambassador in Britain] has informed them that the Soviet Government would like to give her the Order of the Red Banner of Labour for her activities as Chairman of the Red Cross Aid to Russia Fund. Despatched on 8 April.

Letter from [Albert Edward, Prince of Wales](Cercle de la Mediterranee, Nice[France]) to [Lady Randolph Churchill] in which he thanks her for her letter; says that he has seen his brother [the Duke of Connaught and Strathearn]; comments [on her relationship with George Cornwallis-West] "it is a pity that you have got yourself so talked about -& remember you are not 25!"; and refers to WSC's book ["The Story of the Malakand Field Force"]. Letter from Paul Bourget (Le Plantier, Costerbelle, Hyeres [France]) to Lady Randolph Churchill in which he discusses his possible contribution to the Anglo-Saxon Review and the possibility of her visiting Paris with "la demoiselle Blenheim" [?Consuelo, Duchess of Marlborough, later Consuelo Balsan] and instructs her to ask WSC to send him copies of his books ["The Story of the Malakand Field Force" and "The River War"].

Letter from George [Lord] Curzon [later Lord Curzon of Kedleston] (Strathpeffer [Ross and Cromarty, Scotland]) to Jennie [Lady Randolph Churchill] in which he congratulates her on WSC's escape [from the Boers] and says that he does not think that he will be able to appoint [George] Cornwallis-West.

Letter from Mary [Lady Curzon](Viceregal Lodge, Simla [India]) to Jennie [Lady Randolph Churchill] in which she promises to subscribe to [the Anglo Saxon Review]; describes a visit from the Sourdaler; comments on the high esteem in which WSC and ["The Story of the Malakand Field Force"] are regarded in India and asks for a copy of one of his speeches; discusses the interest in Indian affairs which is shown by journalists and asks her to write.

Letter from Gerald Fitzgibbon (Howth [County Dublin, Ireland]) to Lady Randolph Churchill in which he discusses WSC's book ["The Story of the Malakand Field Force"]. He explains his interest in the subject and compliments her on WSC's persuasive style which he says is reminiscent of [Lord Randolph Churchill's] although he criticises errors in the proof reading.
