Biography

William George Adams worked for Chestnutt, Cooper & Co. before joining Jardine, Matheson & Co. Ltd in 1921 with responsibility for inspecting bristles shipped on joint account with Chestnutt Cooper. He was employed subsequently as the company's Agent at Newchwang. He retired in 1946.
