Scope and Contents
Property letters from Jardine Matheson, Shanghai, to W.G. Adams, Jardine Matheson, Newchwang: nos P.2 and 4 from R.M. Austin, 10 March 1930 and 21 July 1930, and no. P.3 from G.W. Sheppard, 25 March 1930. There are also copies of one unsigned letter from Jardine Matheson, Newchwang, to J.C. Taylor, Jardine Matheson, Tientsin, 20 June 1930; two letters from J.C. Taylor, Tientsin, to W.G. Adams, 19 and 28 June 1930; and one unsigned letter from Jardine Matheson, Tientsin, to W.G. Adams, 20 June 1930. The letters discuss the lease of the wharf frontages, pontoons, etc., to F.D. Farmer & Co. and the sale of Jardine, Matheson & Co.'s property. The ring-binder is labelled 'Ports. Newchwang. Property'.
