Biography

George Irvine Lawson joined the Indo-China Steam Navigation Co. Ltd in 1923. He became a Master in 1929, and commanded S.S. 'Fuhwo'. After internment at Shanghai during the Second World War, he was seconded to the Shanghai & Hongkew Wharf Co. Ltd. He became Assistant Marine Superintendent of the Indo-China Steam Navigation Co. Ltd in 1954, and Marine Superintendent in 1957.
