Scope and Contents

Mostly letters concerning Carter's election as a Fellow in Jan. 1967. These include a letter from the Provost, and letters of congratulation from Lord Salisbury (his predecessor in the number of fellows), John Betjeman, and others. With the letters are printed lists of Eton College officers with ms. alterations, and clippings.

Hugh Fraser Stewart and family: Correspondence and Papers
