Biography

The Jardine Aircraft Maintenance Co. Ltd was established by Jardine, Matheson & Co. Ltd at Hong Kong in 1947 to service airlines operating through the colony. The operations of the company merged with those of the Pacific Air Maintenance & Supply Co. Ltd owned by Butterfield & Swire in 1950 to form the Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Co. Ltd. The Jardine Aircraft Maintenance Co. Ltd was placed into voluntary liquidation in 1954.
