Letter from [Lady Randolph Churchill] (Iwerne Minster House, Blandford [Dorset]) to "Jack" [John S Churchill] in which she says that she has received a letter from Colonel [John] Brabazon enclosing a letter from Sir Bindon Blood which praised WSC, commenting that "he was doing the work of 2 ordinary subalterns", and said that it was likely that WSC would be awarded the Victoria Cross or the DSO [Companion of the Distinguished Service Order].
