Letter from [Frances, Duchess of Marlborough] (Deepdene, Dorking [Surrey]) to [Lord Randolph Churchill] including: plans for "Jack" [John S Churchill] before he returns to Harrow school; her enjoyment of her stay with [Lilian, Duchess of Marlborough, later Lady William Beresford] and decision to spend Christmas there with WSC and "Jack"; political gossip about two cheques which were sent by [William] Gladstone to the Irish National Times; the death of the Comte de Paris and advice about his health.
