Scope and Contents

Michael Saso is an influential scholar of Taoism who was a Jesuit priest. He converted to Taoism and became an ordained Taoist priest. He later was reinstated as a Jesuit priest.

Michel Strickmann was an expert on Liu Chhao Taoism with a profound knowledge of the 'Tao Tsang' and many non-Taoist historical sources.

Scope and Contents The archives relate chiefly to the building, equipping and use of the new laboratories on Lensfield Road after World War Two and to Chemistry teaching from the 1960s onwards. For the former, there survive extensive series of building plans, equipment manuals, correspondence concerning supplies and photographs.
