On fo. 2 verso a note of a proposed donation by Mr Wright of Horsington, Lincs, of a cottage there of rentable value of 26s 8d with an alternative scheme should the college not wish to accept the cottage. It does not appear that this offer came to fruition.

Much of the expenditure is concerned with the new chapel; receipts are increased rents, etc. Signed by Thomas Legge, indicating that the document was produced in the university courts.

These documents take the form of rolls unless otherwise stated. Although the records are chiefly of Cambridge, rentals for Barnwell, Landbeach, Barton, Wilbraham Parva, Chatteris and Over are also to found. Later rentals also include records of annuities.
No. 33 is a terrier of Cambridge East Field and 38 relates to Barton so these are not listed in this series.
No. 64, which was out of sequence, has been re-numbered 73.1.
