'Exposé présenté au Ministre de France par les Agents de Lieou Kieou le 20 Novembre 1878': a translation into French of a petition presented to the French diplomat Francis Henri Louis de Geofroy by the agents of Loochoo (Ryukyu Islands), dated Tokyo, 20 October 1878, 5 folios + cover (sewn together), with annotations in Parkes' hand. There is also a loose folio containing an undated note by Parkes.
