Collingham discusses the issue of the action of the W2B turbine rotor when going into or coming out of a dive and with the engine cut off at some length, but is in entire agreement with Sporborg as to the necessity of providing fore-and-aft sets of pads to the thrust collar. They are proceeding accordingly.
