This series includes items pertaining to E.M. Forster's ancestors on his father's side of the family. Among the items are several files of drawings made by the Thorntons and Forsters, a copy of the will of Marianne Thornton, maps of Clapham Comon with the Thornton interests denoted, and some family trees.
