The wording is that ‘when ye shall pase that way yn yowre visitation that ye wyll resorte thither And pervusyng the fundation a[n]d rewles of that howse ye wyll so provide that my sayd frynd may be ther admyttyd yn the rome of a felowe . . .'
The letter can hardly be addressed to any of the Henrician Commissioners of 1544/5 as Allen was a Fellow from 1536 and died in 1545.
