210 x 160 mm. The caption continues: 'Each year, for many centuries, a regular caravan of dhows comes down the east coast of Africa from the ports of Southern Arabia and the Persian Gulf. Arriving with the north east monsoon in January they return with the south west monsoon in May.'

One of the sports who turned out at 2pm to go to the ceremony'. Spurrier was for many years the Government Health Officer in Zanzibar and was also for a period the editor of the 'Zanzibar Gazette'.
