'The Fish Sellers meet the fishing boats as the come in, and buy the fish from the fishermen on the beach. They then carry it round the town on the long canes you can see in the picture across their shoulders.'

'A part of the North Jetty on the right. The tower is that of H.M. Customs, also seen in No. 13. The long shed on the left is one of the great many belonging to the Harbour Board for the storage of cargo as it is landed from the vessels.'
