346 x 250 mm. Information given states 'Stone abutment, 2 spans 55 feet each, total length 110 feet'. A side view of the wooden bridge, on wooden supports, with the abutment visible below the piers. A mill of some kind is visible behind the bridge.

A view of the viaduct from the stream bed which runs beneath it: 'The Railway viaduct at Picton is a work of considerable importance, built of masonry, set in cement and consisting of five openings of 40 feet each. The length is 276 feet, and the height from foundation to rail level, 78 feet.'
