A collection of Photographs illustrative of the Railway System of New South Wales 1887
Scope and Contents
A collection of albumen prints by an unknown photographer. The prints were originally in an album with a printed title page reading 'Charles Potter, Government Printer, presented by C.A. Goodchap, Commissioner of Railways'. Some of the pages have decorative designs round the mount, but only a few have captions, and the following details have been derived from various sources. Plates 21-25 have not been researched in the same detail as plates 1-24 and, unless otherwise stated, they are approximately 340 x 262 mm and in good condition, apart from slight fading chiefly along the bottom and at the outer edge.
- Creation: 1887
