This album contains 114 collodio-chloride prints, mostly amateur work of good quality, approximately 110 x 65 mm in size. In addition to photographs of India, there are eight of Canada (72-79) and seven of England (80-85, 114) dated 1907 and 1909. Invitations for Douglas to become an honorary member of a number of regimental messes have also been inserted.

The end papers have a label 'Bourne and Shepherd : Artists, Photographers and Publishers. Calcutta, Simla and Bombay'. This album deals with architectural views (with many close-up details) of buildings in Udaipur, Jaipur, Ajmir, Chitor, Mt Abu, Lahore, Amritsar, Delhi, Agra and Fatehpur Sikri.
