Fine examples of stalactites and stalacmites are often seen and, of course, these caves are often the home of hoardes of bats. This picture shows the entrance to one of the caves which is very nothing more than a hole in the ground with a fifteen or twenty foot drop to the floor.'

Cloves which are to be transhipped are covered with a gunny cover over the ordinary matting bag. Now there are Government quality standards and every bale of cloves which goes out of the country carries a gout grade and inspection stamp. The picture shows samples being withdrawn from bags of cloves before they pass into the clove market.'
