Contains loose photographs measuring approximately 210 x 155 mm and with pencilled captions on the backs of the photographs. Photographs show two views in St George's and four scenes in a cocao plantation.
Photographs of St. Kitts, circa 1900, 1900
Contains loose photographs by José Anjo with pencilled captions and photographer's stamp on the reverse of the prints. The pictures show buildings and a public garden in St. Kitts and Nevis (the two islands were formed into a union in 1882, although the idea had been mooted as early as 1723). The fourth image is a duplicate of No. 3.

Pitch Lake is the largest natural deposit of asphalt in the world located in La Brea, southwest Trinidad, within the Siparia Regional Corporation.

265 x 180 mm. A beach scene at Carbet (sic) with a man and a rowing boat in the foreground of the palm-fringed beach. Carbet lies a few miles due south of Saint Pierre on the west coast of Martinique.

The bearded figure is possibly William Henry Whyam (born 1848), a member of the Executive and Legislative Councils of Antigua and the Leeward Islands at various times. The figure seated on the left in the front row is probably the Captain, Mr Peters.
