They include slides of the very attractive views from the garden and a series of aerial views taken at varying heights in May 1972. This section concludes with photographs of members of the domestic staff taken just before Marnham left St Lucia (dated Oct 72 nos 18-25). Among events which are shown are: a youth rally at Vieux Fort on 1 May 1971 and 11 scenes at the Castries Carnival of 1972. A scrapbook album containing prints of various sizes by various photographers. The majority of the prints are captioned in Bell's hand. They relate to his period as Governor of the Leeward Islands, which ended in 1915; visits to England and South Africa; and, from plate 33 onwards, his Governorship of Mauritius, to which he was appointed in 1915.
