A view looking across the lawns and flowerbeds (where gardeners are at work) to the Government House built by Captain Usorne, the Director of the Public Works, for Sir Henry Hesketh Bell. On his arrival in Entebbe, Hesketh Bell's accommodation consisted of a 'very large bungalow of wood and iron, raised high on stilts and as ugly and prosaic a building as one would not wish to see'.
