Scope and Contents

79 x 81 mm. A full length portrait of the Duchess D'Aosta standing in a garden. The Duchess D'Aosta, a daughter of the Comte de Paris and also known as Princess Hélène de France, arrived in Entebbe in mid-March 1908 in company with Lady Susan Hicks-Beach and an Italian count. The visit is described in Bell (1946), pp 177-178, and Bell (1908), January 7, January 20, March 17, March 30.
