Issued to Kate Marjorie Hutchinson, teacher, 1918, with endorsements from the Canadian Department of External Affairs, the Japanese and Chinese consulates in Vancouver and the Penang registrar, 1918-1919. The passport has the seal of the Barbados colony.

One appears to be instructions to a printer for how this photograph is to appear in a publication. The other gives details of the uniform worn by Manning. Photographer unknown.

Chamberlain bridge, Landing steps, etc, Barbados, 1910
200 x 140 mm. A view looking down on part of the Bridgetown dock area with a sailing ship moored near the Chamberlain Bridge. Larger steam vessels can be seen at anchor offshore in the deep-water harbour. The bridge was presumably named out of gratitude for Joseph Chamberlain's successful fight to induce the cabinet to abolish the bounty system which encouraged European beet production at the expense of imported West Indian sugar.
