Biographical / Historical
Thomas Herbert Cashmore (1892-1984) was born in Coventry on 27 April 1892. He was ordained in 1917, and served as a missionary at Ranchi, 1917-1922, and as Principal of St James College, Calcutta, 1922-1933. After holding livings in England, he was consecrated Bishop of Dunwich in 1955, a position he held until his retirement in 1967. Kate Marjorie Hutchinson, a teacher, was born in Barbados on 30 March 1896. She married Thomas Cashmore in 1919.
