Forty-five black and white photographs relating to the Aid tour of 1950. There are 27 captioned portrait photographs of the members of the tour party taken c. 1948-1950. The remaining images comprise group pictures and scenes from the schoolboys' time in Africa, some labelled and dated, including two mounted on card. There is an accompanying manuscript list of names.

When the RES Headquarters was rebuilt in 1934-36, gifts of timber for panelling and furnishing were obtained from Empire Governments, companies and individuals. Many were destroyed during the bombing of 1941 and replacement gifts were received. This file coordinates pre and post-war correspondence.

Collection of monochrome photogravure postcards of Southern Rhodesia produced for the British Empire Exhibition 1924. The collection compromises a set of six, plus one additional print (7) from a different source. This last card, produced around the same date, is an original photograph.

Eleven snapshots, of various sizes, showing social groups in Southern Rhodesia in the period 1927-38. The people featured in these amateur photographs are: Mrs Frankau, Isa, David and Hudson Newett, Colin Duthie, Oscar Langwade, Margaret Sykes, Miss Millar, Mr Birch, Jim Headley and Miss Ward.
