One of eight printed copies, this is number three, and is inscribed by the author 'For the Cambridge University Library, with respect for Donald Simpson [former RCS librarian]'. The contents of the volume are a collection of articles derived from Clendennen's research into David Livingstone as part of the David Livingstone Documentation Project, 1974-9, and in the course of his career as outlined in the introduction to the volume.
