Thompson collection on Northern Rhodesia/Zambia
Scope and Contents
Collection of black and white photographs arranged under broad headings in approximate chronological order within each heading, the majority of which were captioned by R.S. Thompson at the time of donation. The captions, used as titles and recorded in the notes, may include language which is offensive, inaccurate or inappropriate. They have been retained to reflect the context of the collection's creation. Captions supplied by the cataloguer are enclosed in square brackets. The photographs marked 'O' are official photographs, it is probable that most of the others are by Thompson.
