When the RES Headquarters was rebuilt in 1934-36, gifts of timber for panelling and furnishing were obtained from Empire Governments, companies and individuals. It may possibly be in Malawi, as there is a Nyika National Park and Plateau close to Lake Nyasa which is the likely location of the photograph adjacent to this on the album page.
