Captain Hall, Mrs Popham - Lobb, Captain Dene, 1908 - 1909
138 x 88 mm. Showing these three people seated on the deck of HMS 'Cornwall'. Captain Hall was the commanding officer of HMS 'Cornwall' and later, in the First World War, Director of Military Intelligence. Captain Dene was an army officer stationed in Bermuda with the Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry.

The principal part of the collection is a set of programmes and guides prepared for the different legs of the Royal Tour. These are supplemented by related correspondence and papers compiled by the Royal Empire Society and others. The collection is in English with the exception of one item in English and Arabic.

This lighthouse stands on a hill 245 feet above sea level and is itself 117 feet high. A caption on the face of the print reads: '4712-12. Framed by the white-washed roof and chimney of a typical Bermuda farmhouse is Gibb's Hill Lighthouse, highest point in Bermuda.
