Scope and Contents

This lighthouse stands on a hill 245 feet above sea level and is itself 117 feet high. A caption on the face of the print reads: '4712-12. Framed by the white-washed roof and chimney of a typical Bermuda farmhouse is Gibb's Hill Lighthouse, highest point in Bermuda. From the observation platform, one commands a superb view of the entire western end of the colony. Bermuda News Bureau, 620 Fifth Avenue, N. Y. Columbus 5-3965. Hamilton, Bermuda, Cable 'Newsbur''.
