Showing cattle being herded through the dip under the supervision of European officers. The typewritten caption on the reverse reads 'In every possible way the Sleeping Sickness Service encourages people to keep cattle and take up mixed farming. At Takalafiya a cattle dip for the prevention of tick-borne diseases is available free to all farmers and nomadic herdsmen. There is also an animal clinic at Takalafiya'.
