136 x 194 mm. A loose print with a contemporary caption on a separate piece of paper reading 'Andries van den Heever. Member of the Pétrusburg Congregation. Aged 66. Height 6ft. 3ins. Round waist 7ft 3ins. Weight 635 Lbs.' The full-length portrait shows van den Heever seated on a chair and holding a carved walking stick. A modern copy of the print (which is in itself a copy of an older photograph) is included with this item.
Portularea, 1969-01
Contains slides including a group of seven interiors of Marnham's house taken in August 1968, three showing servants in February 1968 and one of the visit of the Mayor for the celebration of the Queen's birthday on 20 April 1968. The majority show the garden, from scenes in April 1967 to seven transparencies making up a panorama taken on the eve of departure in March 1970. In between these are extensive views both of individual clumps of flowers and more general scenes.

At the foot of the statue is inscribed Brand's motto 'Alles sal reg kom so ekeen sy plig ben' (everything will come right if everyone does his duty).
