Road signs, motor car numbers, lamp posts, etc. , are being used as motifs, which is to be regretted. They sometimes use touches of oil paint to add their earth colours. There are only a few examples left of this lovely work and culture. 1949'. Although uncredited in this album, this photograph was probably taken by Dorothy Barker...
